Let's Go Golfing!

I am so happy that the weather is already so beautiful outside. Last year, it took way too long and I took off for South America before I got to experience any warmth. And then when I was in South America, I also didn't get to experience any warmth. So I am very thankful that it seems to be coming early this year. One thing I am most excited about is going golfing! I really miss the days of being on my high school team, getting to play every day and competing against other schools. I still love to play, but I never went last year and I'm anxious to see how well I do this year. I have some redemption to do versus the older brother and I think I can take him. I got a hand-me-down driver from my dad and I think it's going to help. Let's go!

West Seattle Golf Course

Saturday morning I went golfing with my brother and a couple of his friends. We went to West Seattle Golf Course in West Seattle (duh!) which I hadn't played since high school and it was a lot of fun. The course also offers some great views of the downtown Seattle skyline, as shown above, and some great hill climbing for guaranteed exercise. It is a fairly easy course so if you're a beginner I would say give it a try. I love the front nine, but had never played the back so it was a bit challenging. I definitely played like a beginner there. Between the heat, lots of hills and...well no I just played bad. But it was still very enjoyable!
